Hi! My name is Samantha. I was born in Barrington, Illinois, but grew up in Jupiter, Florida. I've been a vet tech for almost 3 years now. I am Lead Technician of Gilmer Road Animal Hospital. I'm also a part time student at McHenry County College to get my associates in science, then I plan to transfer to Vet school! I plan to have my DVM by 2021!

Tiffany has been a veterinary technician for 6 years.  Born and raised in Mchenry,  Tiffany currently resides in Island Lake with her husband and two daughters. Coming to work makes her excited to help pets and their owners.  With a dog and cat of her own, she understands the love and compassion that pets bring into our lives. Outside of work she loves to be outdoors running, hiking, and walking with her daughters.

Kristen has been with the Gilmer Road family since early 2018. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison and working in advertising for five years, she made a career change, following her passion of working with animals. She is currently enrolled in school to earn her Certified Veterinary Technician degree. Kristen and her husband reside in Wauconda with their dog, Titan. In her free time, Kristen enjoys working with Titan in training classes, studying at coffee shops, or binge-watching Netflix.

Jasmine is our newest member to our Gilmer Road family. She joined October 2018. She grew up in Lake Zurich and now currently lives in Volo. She has always had a passion for animals since a young age. She worked 2 years at an animal shelter and couldn't see herself doing anything else. She had 2 dogs and a bird that occupy most of her free time. When she isn't spending time with them Jasmine likes to help out at an animal shelter, paint or relax.

Katelyn's love for animals began early in life with horses, and has since then encouraged her to explore other parts of Veterinary Medicine with small animals. In her spare time you will find her hiking with her dogs, or riding her horses. She enjoys working with the Gilmer Road Animal Hospital team and looks forward to advancing her career in both small and large animals.

Kylie currently attends College of Lake County to finish her prerequisites in hopes to go to school at Madison Area Technical College where she hopes to finish schooling and become an AVMA certified tech! She enjoys taking two dogs on walks, watching the office and practicing yoga in her free time.

Snickers was our house cat when we opened our doors in August 2016. She enjoyed lounging in the sun, taking long cat naps, and helping to monitor our patients. Snickers crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2018 due to squamous cell carcinoma. She is dearly missed.

Is our newest resident cat. He arrived in summer 2017. Murray's favorite hobbies include sleeping in boxes, exploring the hospital, and antagonizing Dr. Brar's French Bulldog.

Toothless joined our Gilmer family in 2019! She was dropped off at our clinic and has become our newest resident! She is the sweetest cat and loves to be pet! She constantly purrs and loves to rub against our legs!
