    Nagar Brar
    Medical Director / Veterinarian

    Dr. Brar is a 2002 veterinary graduate from College Of Veterinary Science Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, India. Dr. Brar has been working for over ten years in the Chicagoland area. The past seven years he has been working at McHenry Pet Hospital in McHenry, Illinois. Dr. Brar started working full time at Gilmer Road Animal Hospital in January 2017.

  • Dr. Elizabeth Cullum

    Dr. Cullum joined Gilmer June 2021 after interning with us in Summer 2019. She received a B.S in Molecular Biology in 2017 and recently graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine May 2021. Certified in Fear Free, she is extremely passionate about animal behavior and welfare. She has 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 fish tanks.

    Hi! My name is Samantha. I'm the Lead Technician at Gilmer Road. I've been a technician for 8 years. I graduated MCC with an Associates Degree in Science in December 2020. I will be applying to vet school Fall 2021! I own a special needs French Bulldog named Toffee, a blue German Shepherd named Apollo, and a ferret named Brew.

I have two dogs, Louie, an Australian Cattle Shepherd mix and Skyla, a Husky/German Shepherd mix. I enjoy taking them on long nature hikes and also riding horses at my grandma's farm.
